A rich, sophisticated, electric color, Plum is a dramatic statement in both traditional and modern décor. This derivative of purple is full of energy and holds hints of pink and raspberry in its body. Plum is perfect as a room’s overall color or as a punch of power in decorative accents.

Deep, warm, smokey tones of plum, such as Eggplant, Raisin, and Aubergine, create a sophisticated setting. Show strong contrast when pairing this sultry color with ivory, gold, silver, or graphite as the neutrals.

Traditional Home’s 2008 Atlanta Show House, showcases plum on the plush accent chairs above and as an overall room color below. The balance of neutrals in the surroundings further emphasize the power of plum in both settings.

Romo’s Grandis wallpaper, in plum, is grand in scale and color. Use in a large dining room or even a small powder room. Paint the ceiling of either space the background color of this plum paper.  Better yet, paper the ceiling in silver leaf for added glitz.
